    2nd Annual Student Athlete Leadership Conference

    Presented by: Positive Coaching Alliance and the CAA

    Location: Grand Canyon University 

    Date: April 29, 2014 

    Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm

    Cost: $10 per student athlete and parents 

    * A day to honor our student athletes with bringing them together to learn leadership skills and other important life skills.

      CAA Student Athlete's playing at the next level Spotlight

      CAA High School Girls Basketball Division I Player of the Year:

         Alanna Ostby (Paradise Valley Christian)

      *  Accepting an offer to play at Arizona Christian University.

       Congratulations!

      Leaders on Campus

      Jonathan is 15 years old and a freshman at The Orme School. Jonathan has achieved High Honors with a 3.88 GPA average.  He is one of two Freshman Class Representatives.  He is in the Leadership Club, Art Club and International Club.  Jonathan volunteers at Chauncey Ranch once or twice a month.  He helps with outdoor education classes such as spotting for high ropes, leading low rope activities, lifeguarding, leading sports groups, running teambuilding activities, and teaching youth to fish.  Jonathan also assists his father with teaching Hunter Safety classes for Arizona Game and Fish. Jonathan put in 128 hours of volunteer time during the 2012-2013 year.  He is currently certified in CPRPRO/AED, First Aid, Oxygen Administration, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Lifeguarding.  The sports he has participated in are:  Varsity starter for Football (Quarter Back), Basketball (Point Guard), Soccer (Goalie and Mid), and Track and Field (100, 200, 400 & long jump). Overall, Jonathan is a great student, a great athlete, and a model citizen.
